Snowflake has a great homely feel and is used as the base for many professional snowboarders. There is a kitchen which guests can use to prepare their own meals. The lodge has English TV and free internet in the lounge area with Olympic memorabilia and photos around the lodge. This lodge is owned and run by Kojima , an Olympic Snowboard Coach and is located a few minutes walk from the gondola. The pension has only been in operation since the 2005/06 winter season but is extremely popular for both winter and summer guests. Style: Western style inn, Condominium. Access By bus:
You get on local bus "Lavender-go". You get off the bus
at Access By train: You get off the train at JR Furano station. Then you get on the bus or a taxi. Pick Ups: Please make us a reservation. *free of charge. To Furano Station: 5 minutes drive. To Kitanomine Ski Area: 4 minutes walk to the base of Kitanomine ski area and Gondola station. To New Furano Prince Hotel (Ski area & Ninguru Terrace): 5 minutes drive. To convenience store (7/11): 3 minutes walk. |
